Belmont Stakes Odds - The best betting odds on the Belmont Stakes

The Belmont Stakes is a Grade I stakes thoroughbred race, the third leg of the Triple Crown, held annually in June at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. It is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) horse race for three-year-old colts and geldings carrying a weight of 126 pounds (57 kg) and for fillies with a weight of 121 pounds (55 kg), the US $1 million Belmont Stakes is the longest and most demanding leg of the Triple Crown Series. The Belmont Stakes is the less attractive of the three legs of the Triple Crown, as far as betting is concerned, but still attracts a large crowd. The Belmont receives unprecedented interest when a Triple Crown contender participates, such was the 2008 chase, when Big Brown, winner of the Derby and the Preakness finished last at the Belmont Stakes.
